Main Street Music offers a variety of instrument repair services. Utilizing both on-site and outside services, we can get your instruments playing great again. We also offer everything from basic restrings to full set ups and wiring repair & replacement on electric and electric acoustic instruments.

RESTRINGS & REPAIRS

We proudly offer full-service repair on most orchestra instruments and guitars. This includes basic adjustments, part replacements, and full overhauls to get your instrument in great playing condition.

Our skilled technicians handle everything from fine-tuning and cleaning to deep restoration work. Instrument repairs start at $38, and due to the nature of these repairs, immediate quotes are not possible. We provide quotes only for jobs exceeding $65, as determined by our experienced repairman. (Note: We no longer perform in-depth repairs on band instruments, but we are more than happy to take a look and see if there is anything we can do!) We will gladly get your guitar or bass playing exactly to your liking. Basic restringing includes cleaning and neck conditioning, while a full setup involves action and intonation adjustments. We also offer pickup installation, rewiring, and other advanced repairs. Pricing varies depending on the instrument type and the work performed—please call or visit the store for details.

WARRANTY SERVICES

Main Street Music is an authorized dealer for a large variety of manufacturers. We offer warranty service for many of these brands, either through in store repair or directly with the manufacturer. If you have a defective product that you purchased at Main Street Music, please call us or come in to the store for assistance.

NOTE

While we sometimes can offer warranty services on electronics not purchased through the store, we are not equipped to perform after market electronics repair. Please reach out to us for any further inquiries!
